<p>Well, I&#8217;have been in the fitting room of <a href="http://www.jules.fr/" target="_blank">Jules</a>, and the small magazines on the banc gave me the idea of writing this article.</p>
<p>I have the experience like every else that when you are trying the new clothes in a store, I&#8217;m sure of these 2 things:</p>
<ul>
<li>You will EASILY find a pile of clothes and trousers waiting to be arranged.</li>
<li>You will CERTAINLY think of whether they suit you, too.</li>
<li>You will EAGERLY know who has tried them.</li>
</ul>
<p>Well, that&#8217;s exactly the same concept like the famous Amazon recommendations:</p>

<p>and as we all know that <a href="http://www.getelastic.com/merchandising-tips/" target="_blank">35% of Amazon Sales come from cross-sells &amp; recommendations</a>.</p>
<p>Of course, the online retailers&#8217; advantage of tracking and analysis of users&#8217; data is unrivaled by the brick and mortar, but why not try the following things:</p>
<ul>
<li>Put the best selling items in/around the fitting room ON PURPOSE according to the past sales data.</li>
<li>Make the items (have been tried by others) ARRANGED and ORGANISED instead of leaving a loose mountain of them.</li>
<li>Put some brochures or even FREEBIES, SURPRISE GIFTS in the dressing room: an attemp to make the story spread.</li>
</ul>

<p>Par contre, pour la plupart des sites e-commerce, on a choisi de mettre le panier à droite, tels que <a href="http://www.amazon.com/" target="_blank"><span style="color:#0000ff;">Amazon</span></a>,  <a href="http://www.telemarket.fr/" target="_blank"><span style="color:#0000ff;">Telemarket</span></a>, <a href="http://www.coursengo.com/supermarche/accueil.html" target="_blank"><span style="color:#0000ff;">Coursengo</span></a>, etc.</p>
